Welcome to Our House! Our impactful work is only made possible with the support of individuals and groups like you. There are numerous ways for you to get involved and contribute to our mission of providing transformative care to end the cycle of homelessness for families. Explore the opportunities below to see how you can make a difference.
Things to know:
- Background Check: All volunteers must clear a fingerprint background check prior to volunteering. For groups, one member must submit a background check.
- Orientation: Completion of a volunteer orientation is mandatory before volunteering at Our House.
- Age Restrictions: Volunteers assisting in the infant classrooms must be 18 or older. Meal service volunteers must be 16 or older, with adult supervision.
- Group Service Days: For Groups of 10 or more, we offer customized Days of Service for corporations and civic groups to engage in team building through volunteerism. Please reach out to Community Engagement Manager, Bria Everett at beverett@ourhousega.org for more information.

Meal Service

Get a group of friends or colleagues together to prepare (or cater) a meal for our families on weekends.
Supply Drives
Host a supply drive for our shelter’s most urgently needed supplies. Or donate from our Amazon Wishlist!
ECE Classroom Assistant
Help at one of our early childhood education sites assisting teachers, or comforting infants.
